And the bunnies go to Brazil

Shy and I are comfortably set for the trip. Our passports are up to date and we got their visas mailed just last week (we didn’t know we needed them…)!

Our favorite visit was to the Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana, a museum/library/art-house cinema that used to be a Hotel called Majestik. The entire building is painted in pink. Soooo cute.

And to our surprise.. We found a puppy and we begged our owner to keep him. She was not very happy with the prospect of having to watch out for a puppy too, since he already have me (and Shy is always with me) and Jack Bauer (the fish). But in the end she said yes (YES!) and we have a puppy. We named him Hachi in honor of the movie we watched on the trip back home.
